prepare for take off!it's back, it's about to take off and it's looking to be out of this world! There's an awesome line up and although some complain about the quality of the program's paper there should be no complaints about the quality and talent of the artists.
Whilst I'm not an artist or connected to the fringe in anyway, I do know plenty of people who are and if I get the time between work (and fringe shows) I'll be posting the inside word here.
Just an initial heads up
The Boy with Tape on his Face' - worth the hype, warrants the hype, wouldn't miss it if I were you (i'm me, but i'm not missing it).
Lowrider - these guys do Adelaide proud with their soulful individual style. Kick start your Fringe with local talent. They have some big things ahead i reckon. Get in early because word on the street is - it'll be a sell out! http://tix.adelaidefringe.com.au/ticketing/EventDetails.aspx?EventGuid=299b5909-d9e6-4a29-9c6a-66b01007e191

start spendingAlready have spend close to $300 and we haven't even started yet!
Currently wearing my fringe tshirt (went for the blue) and in my pocket have tickets to Lowrider and 'The boy with tape on his face' for me and group of friends.
I've noticed that news articles that don't have much room to plug the garden mention 'the boy with tape on his face' as the hot show to watch.
Something tells me this will sell out again!
As for Lowrider, they totally rock out! I'm hoping their show goes for longer then just an hour though - and it will be a bit different seated. Will see...
I was in Melbourne last week at the tennis etc and my office folk were talking about coming over. i think this year might pull more interstaters - good news for local business, although it means the tickets will sell quicker.
